Musical Influences/Idols

Until I bought "Live at Hyde Park" from the Chili Peppers, I just listened to what the rest listened to. But since then, I fell in love with Rock music. I heard through all facetes of rock like ACDC, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Jimmy Barnes, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Queen, Pat Travers, Pink Floyd, Kiss, John Mellencamp, Georgia Sattelites, Boston, Journey, Toto, and many more.
Then the first Metalbands like All That Remains, Evergreen terrace, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Shinedown, In Flames, Parkway Drive, After the Burial etc. Joined in. Progressive music caught me (like about 90% of the Progmetal listeners) via Dream Theater. Following bands were  Tool, Andromeda, Shadow Galley, The Human Abstract, Symphony X, Protest the Hero, Circus Maximus, LTE, Gentle Giant, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree... I gave myself to progressive guitar and drumming completely and really love the neo-classical style of it since the album "Nocturne" by The Human Abstract.
