Blyndfold - collide-o-scope

With their first studio-album the yound german band Blyndfold produced a mature and diverse piece of innovative Progmetal. With the 25-minute opening song "The Season Songs", the five-piece from Dortmund presents itself power- and playful, emotional parts and heavy riffs interchange convincingly, featuring virtuosic solo passages as well. The second half of the record (entitled "Darkness Diary") is more dark and gloomy without presenting a different overall picture.
